National Service Provider (NSP) for Improved Water Mill Technology

Gramin Urja Tatha Prabidhi Sewa Kendra Pvt. Ltd. (RETSC) as a national partner of Alternative Energy Promotion Center (AEPC)/ National Rural and Renewable Energy Programme (NRREP) has been working to provide technical support and services related to Improved Water Mill Technology and its programme being executed by AEPC/NRREP. NRREP is multi donor programme on renewable energy for the period of five years from mid-July 2012 to mid-July 2017. Before arrival of NRREP, national programme on Improved Water Mill was implemented by Center for Rural Technology, Nepal (CRT/N) with the support from ESAP/AEPC. Now, after commencement of NRREP, IWM related programme and activities is executed by NRREP/AEPC and implemented by Regional Service Centers (RSC) s. During shifting of implementation modality and roles from CRT/N to RSCs, knowledge on technical and reporting necessity for smooth and effective operation of IWM related activities needs to be transferred for which National Service Provider (NSP) on IWM has been selected. The main focus of NSP will be to capacitate stakeholders and provide technical assistance to conduct all the IWM related activities under NRREP/AEPC.
